Jurong Bird Park

Today, we went to Jurong Bird Park......... :) It's a bright & sunny day!!
We are so lucky... cos it had been storming for the past few days....and for the record, it rained the whole day on the following day, Sun....
Mummy had found out from the website that there was a 1 for 1 promotion for the month of Aug, to celebrate National Day....

To kick off our day, we had our tummies filled first at Bongo Burgers..... where Daddy & Mummy bought me a parrot for $6 beside the food.... It would have cost $12 at the souvenir shop otherwise.... It was my best companion for the day... I held it everywhere we went..... You can see the photos....hehe...

Our first stop was the African Wetlands, followed by World of Darkness, Photography with the Birds (Daddy & Mummy decided to purchase the photo they took for us even though it was so expensive @$22!!) , Flamingo Pool, Wetlands, and The Riverine.... We then proceeded to Pools Amphitheatre to catch the Children's Parrot Show at 1pm....

Vol 1

After the show, we went to Southeast Asian Birds Aviary before hopping onto the panorail to Lory Loft.... I loved walking on the bridges there.... We had a look at the Window on Paradise before catching the panorail to our next stop African Waterfall Aviary.... From there, we saw the Parrot Paradise where there were so many different types of parrots....wow! We then walked on the boardwalk linking Pelican Cove and Flamingo Lake..... After that, we went back to the main station of the panorail and proceeded to Fuji Hawk Walk for the Kings of the Skies Show at 4pm..... Our last stop was the Penguin Expedition before we called it a day.......

Vol 2

An enjoyable, but tiring day! I knocked out for 2 hours straight after my bath & milk..... Ended up having dinner at 8.30pm before going off to Pasir Ris to terrorise my Gong Gong & Po Po!! hahaha...
