Daddy's & Mummy's Getaway to Bali Day 3: Day Tour - Waterfall, Celuk, Mas & Temen Village, Kintamani

Sun, 13 Mar 11 late morning to afternoon

After the Barong dance, the guide brought them to see the waterfall at Tegenungan....

Then, Daddy & Mummy went to the center of gold and silver smith at Celuk, where Mummy ended up with a silver necklace, bracelet and earrings! She loved the place to bits....hahaha.... so many jewelery for her to shop!

Next stop is the home of painters at Ubud (they didn't buy any painting) and the center of wood carving at Mas village, where they bought a Barong mask...

Before heading to Kintamani for lunch, they stopped at Temen village to see the garden of coffee, coco, fruits and spices... Here, they also got to try coffee ginseng, lemongrass tea, ginger tea, coco, Bali coffee and some fruits...
They decided to pay 50,000 rupiah (around $7.50) to try the Kopi Luwak (Pea Berry Coffee)... There's this animal, Luwak, in Bali which looks for the best coffee berry to eat and the coffee seed will be passed out in their stool. Supposedly, this coffee has a flavour unlike any others.... it is very smooth and have hints of caramel and coco taste in it....

At one of the restaurants at Kintamani, where one can see the splendid view of the volcano Mt. Batur and its crater lake.....
