Penang Trip Day 4: Coming Home

Time flies...... We are going home today....... We will be going off first, as our flight is earlier at 3 plus, while Ah Gong's & Ah Po's flight has been delayed from 4 plus to 7 plus....

Penang Trip Day 3

We had lunch at Line Clear, a famous nasi kandar stall in Penang......
Mummy & I had special order, maggi mee soup, which the people specially prepared for us at the request of Daddy.........

Just for show..... hahaha....

At a bus stop in Penang.....

A shot before going out again to Gurney Plaza.....

Mummy didn't shop that much as she was not feeling well....
She bought some tops & shorts at FOS, while Daddy bought 2 pairs of jeans at Reject Shop....

We had dinner at the supposedly famous Gurney Drive..... *Thumbs Down!!*
We won't recommend you to eat there..... all the food we tried sucks! The fried kway teow's queue was so long, and Daddy queued for like half an hour? It was definitely NOT WORTH the wait.... And the hokkien prawn mee...... Let me tell you, this is the ONLY one Mummy tried and didn't finish it....... So what do you think?? My Mummy is a fan of the Penang Hokkien prawn mee..... The fried kway teow and hokkien prawn mee at a coffee shop opposite Cititel is much much better! In fact, Mummy will suggest to you to just eat at any other coffee shop in Penang itself... the food tastes so much better.... Don't be taken in by the hype of Gurney Drive...

Penang Trip Day 2

We went to have lunch nearby, then did some shopping at Gama, before going back to hotel to rest......

For me, it's time to play with Ah Gong & Ah Po in their room, while Mummy had her nap....

For dinner, we went to Pranglin Mall, which was just a few minutes walk away from the hotel..... In case you want to know, we stayed at Traders Hotel, the same one as our last trip....

Yummy fries for supper...... I was supposed to have a toy in my happy meal box, but the blur auntie forgot to pack it in..... :(

I received lots of stuff from my Ah Gong & Ah Po though.....

Penang Trip Day 1

Sat, 7 Aug 10

Off we went to Penang again on a short trip over the National Day break......

This time, Ah Gong, Ah Po and Ah Pak will be joining us over there.....

Poor Mummy was sick throughout this trip... She woke up this morning with a sore throat and she was sick & giddy by the time we reached the hotel.... She slept while the rest of us went for dinner and Daddy bought her kway teow soup....

This also explains why there aren't many photos for this trip as we didn't go sightseeing at all and most importantly, the camera lady (aka Mummy) was sick..... We only went shopping abit here & there....

Nonetheless, I had loads of fun with my Ah Gong & Ah Po in their room.... Each time we went back to hotel, I will go to their room to disturb them.... hehe...

Penang Trip Day 3: A minor incident...

Wed, 30 Dec 09 late at night (almost midnight)

I was sleeping already, when I suddenly woke up coughing and then without warning, just puked all over my bed..... Daddy heard me coughing, turned around to look at me, and saw I had vomited on my Ah Moo, and on the cot.... Mummy was in the shower then...

I dirtied my shirt & pants as well, and Mummy had to clean me up.... while Daddy called the housekeeping to change a cot for me.... and also Mummy's quilt cover as I managed to puke onto that as well...

In my new cot... It's much newer and more colourful than the old one.... hehe..

Looking forlornly at my Ah Moo.... I can't hug it as it's very wet and stinks of my vomit....Mummy managed to wipe off all the vomit with water and the face towel.... Luckily, we will be going home tomorrow, so Mummy can wash it for me....


Finally fell asleep.........

Reason for my vomit?? Daddy guessed I must have eaten too much cheese during dinner.... Remember my pizza meal?? I put alot of the parmesan cheese on top, as I loved to shake shake the bottle...

Lesson learnt... for Mummy & Daddy at least, as I will most probably forgot about it and want to put alot of cheese again the next time... ;p

Penang Trip Day 3: Shopping Time!

There's an A&W there.... Of course, we won't miss the chance to eat there since there is no A&W in Singapore anymore...

We shop till we almost drop.... hahaha...

We had to drop off our shopping bags first before going for dinner.... Mummy bought the most stuff..... It's a real fruitful trip for her... I got some clothes and a pair of shoes as well... As for Daddy, he bought a Philips food processor at Best Denki (our last stop)...
