My Loot from Mummy & Daddy

No clothes for me this time as they didn't go to Jusco......
Also, the City Square mall was undergoing renovation and part of the area was closed...
Nonetheless, Mummy still managed to pick up something for me......

She also had a fairly fruitful trip (read:she bought the most clothes), hahaha...
Daddy did buy 3 polo tops and a pants as well.......

All in all, a good trip........just that both Daddy and she fell sick....... (Daddy was sick first on Wednesday itself, and Mummy on Friday.......They were both sick when they came back to Singapore on Saturday....Oh dear)

The Great MILO Van Hunt

Mummy brought me to Pasir Ris today for my stay over as Daddy and she will be going for a short trip to Johor for shopping and eating....... I will only be coming home on Sunday! Hehe!

So what is the Milo van hunt about??

Let me tell you the story......

Last Wednesday, Mummy brought me to NTUC and picked up a twin Milo pack bundled with a 1980s Milo van...... She was trying to look for the other designs but couldn't find....
Then she saw the instruction on the box to go to Facebook to find out how to get the other vans......

On Thursday, she asked Daddy to buy the pack with 1970s van at Sheng Siong......

On Sunday, she told Gong Gong and Po Po about it when they came over.....

On Monday, Gong Gong and Po Po went to various mini marts in Pasir Ris to look for the 1950s van but to no avail...... They also couldn't find the van today from Shop n Save or Giant........

So today, Mummy logged onto facebook again and chanced upon the photo where they let you know which mini mart has the 1950s van......So, off we (Po Po, Mummy & I) went on our hunt for the last 2 vans.....

We went to Bedok Reservoir where there are 3 mini marts available.........The 1st one was closed........ but we're in luck........as we got it from the 2nd one!

We also found the van today from the Shop n Save at Bedok Interchange.........

And tada! Here's my complete collection (picture taken on 24 Jun 12)
Thank you Gong Gong, Po Po, Daddy and Mummy for their time and effort and $$ to get me my vans!

It's Child's Play!

Gong Gong, Po Po, Mummy and I went to the Peranakan Museum Children's Season Weekend Festival "It's Child's Play!"

I didn't get the goodies bag and free ice cream this year as we only arrived around 3pm........

Happily stamping the various pictures (8 in all) on the card of the Emily of Emerald Hill stage...

We caught the demonstration "A Peek into the World of Puppetry"..
I learnt about the different types of puppets: hand puppets, string puppets, rod puppets, shadow puppets and special puppets like the water puppets.....
It was an enriching session....

After the show, we went to the craft room and collected the materials to make my own puppet as there were no places available.......
I also got the Family Treasures paper to collect the various motifs.....

Completed! And I got a "I love Museums" lanyard... :)

Mummy even tricked me into smiling into the camera....hmph!

This evening, we went to the National Museum of Singapore to view the Singapore Living Galleries.......In case you didn't know, admission to these galleries are free from 6-8pm everyday....
