Teacher-Parents Meeting
This year, the Teacher-Parents Meeting was held during the school holidays.... Daddy's able to attend as he's already on leave for our trip to KL tomorrow.... :)
Mrs Chua gave me a basket of animal toys to play with and asked me to wait outside the room while she talked to Daddy & Mummy..... When they came out, they were surprised to see me surrounded by big brothers & sisters (they were helping out at the school) who were playing with me... haha!
Academic wise, Mrs Chua had no worries.... The only thing is I lacked self confidence and was afraid to speak up in a classroom setting as I was afraid to get the wrong answer.... In a casual setting though, I was really chatty & could even be louder than her!
Some of the craft works we did.....
Evaluation by my Chinese teacher, 钟老师
Here's also the feedback from the English Speech & Drama class, Teacher Francine...

Bye Bye Teacher Adrianna!
On our last day of school for Term 2, Teacher Adrianna gave us all a lollipop each, as it will be her last day.... she won't be there when we went back to school in Term 3.... Mummy was guessing it might be because she was an intern....
I happened to see her today as Mummy & Daddy brought me to school for the teacher-parents meeting......
Mummy took a picture of me with her using her phone.....

The various sculptures at the Youth Olympic Park....
Getting to the bridge....
Finally we are walking on the bridge itself....
Beautiful view from the bridge.....

Icons of the World @ Singapore Flyer
Sat, 28 May 11
We went to Singapore Flyer to walk around and take some pictures of the icons of the world.... Too bad there are only 5 of them: Paris’ Eiffel Tower, America’s Statue of Liberty, India’s Taj Mahal, Egypt’s Pyramid and Sphinx, and Sydney Opera House .... and no, we didn't go for a ride on the flyer.... ;p
At the F1 track....... cool!

English Speech & Drama Performance
Today, we had a mini performance to showcase what we learnt during our English speech & drama classes all this while.....
As Daddy was unable to take leave, Mummy asked Po Po if she wanted to come instead, since 2 people are allowed for each child....
We had robots, clocks and pirates in our mini performance....
Our principal Mrs Wong giving a speech.....
Teachers Annette and Francis from the speech & drama class... You can see my form teacher, Mrs Chua, walking past as well.... haha..
K1A performed a little play about robots & laundry workers...
K1B depicted what happened in a clock shop one fine day....
Our turn!
We performed a little poem "Birthday Cake" first..(Both K1A & K1B also performed a little poem before the play, but Mummy can't remember the names)
Our little play about pirates discovering a new land...... Hope you enjoy it!
After the performance.... with my friends in K1C...
