91st Graduation Ceremony and Concert Part 2

Sat, 13 Oct 12

Ok, here comes the highlight for Mummy & Daddy.......
"Word of Thanks" Speech presented by me.......

Kudos to Daddy for guiding me on the intonation of the speech......and to Mummy for practicing with me everyday (almost)...... that I am able to deliver this speech today without any glitch.......
And not to forget, a BIG THANK YOU to my teacher, Mrs Chua, and principal, Mrs Wong, for giving me this opportunity.....
(Mummy's thoughts: She was really quite surprised when my teacher, Mrs Chua, approached her and asked if I can try doing the speech....... Another student from the morning session was chosen as well and we will then present the speech to both Mrs Chua and Mrs Wong, our principal, who will then choose one to be the speaker.... And tada! I was chosen by Mrs Wong......hehe...)

After the concert, Mrs Wong said to Mummy when she saw her at the lunch reception:"Ryan Chong is amazing! My teachers said I am so cruel to put him through such a long speech...."
She also came over to Daddy and me and said:"I am very very proud of you, Ryan.... You did so well...."
She also told Daddy & Mummy that this was a new speech done up by her this year, as for the past few years, it had been the same old speech....so she decided to come up with a longer speech this time....and she was glad I was able to pull it off so well......

91st Graduation Ceremony and Concert Part 1

All ready to set off to The Salvation Army for our Graduation Ceremony and Concert....
On arrival, Daddy & Mummy have to help me put on the graduation gown and hat..... Then they will have to leave the room and wait outside the auditorium till it's time to go in......

Upon entering the auditorium, Daddy & Mummy were pleasantly surprised that they have been assigned to the first row right in the middle of the stage.......Wow!! Guess it must be because I will be presenting the "Word of Thanks" speech on behalf of my K2 friends........

Here we are, the K2 Graduating Classes........
Can you spot me??

After the Concert...

We passed by the notice board on our way out and Mummy saw that there are photos of the Teachers' Day Celebrations put up.....
She took picture of those with me inside....
Can you spot me?

With Mummy, who's nicely dressed up to attend the concert...

Arts & craft work gallery....
For our class, we made shakers using empty Yakult bottles...
Here's mine!

My First Concert

The Chinese Kindergarten 89th Graduation Ceremony cum Concert
12th November 2010

All the different classes will be performing different items on stage...
For my class, Ms Chin trained us to play the desk bells.....
We will be performing 2 songs: Twinkle, twinkle little stars & Do Re Mi.....

Sarah & Issac are the conductors, they will be singing the numbers, and when we hear our number, we are supposed to press our bell! Ingenious right?

Going down the stage after the performance....

Our performance is unique from the rest, which are mostly dancing/singing, except for the gym performance by one of the K2 class, which is simply amazing!

The whole school singing the finale song at the end of the concert...
(Daddy zoomed in to see me more clearly.... )
