Barbeque!

Sat, 12 Nov 11

Daddy had booked a barbeque pit for today at Labrador Nature Reserve after our little trip there the other time....
Alas, it started raining heavily at around 1pm.... We thought we were going to miss out on our barbeque.... Luckily, the sky started to clear at around 6pm and we decided to give it a go!

It was already dark when we arrived there but we were prepared...... torch lights & candles.... :)

Getting ready..... The fire was started in a flash! (the secret lies in the charcoal used)
Po Po even brought along the disposable table cloth to lay on the table and bench.... cool!

Here's our pit..

Yummy Yummy food......
Can see I'm helping to shine my torch light so that Daddy can see the food he's barbequing...

We happened to see this big cruise ship sailed by....

Playing around..

Enjoying our barbeque dinner...

I love sweetcorn! It's juicy and sweet!

More close up views of me enjoying my sweetcorn...

Mummy managed to find a spot for the camera for this family shot of us... :)

Labrador Nature Reserve

We took the Circle Line train to Labrador Park station and went to Labrador Nature Reserve today.....
Due to the opening of all stations at the Circle Line, we will be able to go on more exploration trips like this.... Mummy already planned another few places to go in the coming weeks.... :)

At the Old Fort entrance... not much of an entrance....

Gun Emplacement... no guns though..

6 inch Gun.... this is cool...

Oh, we didn't walk through the whole thing as it was getting dark.... We headed back the way we came after this....
Next trip, we will complete the History Walk....

The Map.... Mummy took a picture for reference....

A nice stroll....... I kept stopping to look at the waves....

At the playground....
It must be one of the few with sand..... I had a fun time playing here...

This unique maze is so much fun!
