Buffet Dinner at Kuishin Bo

Fri, 8 Mar 13

After my school today, Daddy & Mummy came to pick me up and we went to Kuishin Bo at Great World City for buffet dinner.....It's a Japanese buffet restaurant....

The spread is mainly seafood...... great for seafood lovers like Mummy!
For Friday, kids eat free with accompanying adults....
As the reservation was made before 3pm today, we had a lobster on the house.....
Mummy didn't really fancy the sauce they put on the lobster though.... creamy and sour....

This is just my appetiser...hehe...

Looks nice, Tastes ok...

Buffet at Basilico

Sat, 10 Dec 11

Today, we had our annual meeting with Auntie Zhenzhen (Mummy's friend) and her hubby.... This year, we went for buffet lunch at Basilico at The Regent..... It is famous for its authentic Italian cuisine....

We only took group photos when we were in the restaurant, so Mummy won't be posting the pictures here.....

There are plenty of pictures of me at the hotel area though...Enjoy! :o)

Buffet at Cafe Brio

Sat, 11 Dec 10

We had buffet lunch with Auntie Zhenzhen (Mummy's friend) and her hubby at Cafe Brio (Grand Copthorne Waterfront) today.....

Our family shot taken by Uncle Guoju.... thank you....

Oh, Mummy's not sure if they mind their pictures being published, so she won't be posting our group picture here....

Sadly, the selection and quality of food was not like it used to be........ Daddy had read somewhere that there's a change in Executive Chef........ How we wish to know where the old chef had gone to...
The selection of the cold seafood was pathetic, with only oysters and prawns......:(
There was no roast turkey as compared to previous years, instead it's only turkey breast and Daddy commented it was tasteless...
All the other food was also mediocre....
I don't think we will be going back to this place for buffet anymore....

Some shots of the Christmas decor before going off...

Buffet at Cafe Brio

Daddy made a reservation for us to have buffet dinner at Cafe Brio today.....
As we were too eager to go out, Mummy forgot to bring along the camera, so pardon for the poor quality (too dark) of the pictures taken by Daddy's iphone.....

The spread of the cold seafood was awesome, at least to Mummy! She had 3 rounds of this.... jumbo prawns, Alaskan king crab, scallops.....

Though there were no crayfish this time, the Alaskan king crab more than made up for this, as they were so juicy & sweet! Daddy said this must be the season for the crab, so they had the crab instead of the usual crayfish....Mummy initially found it a chore to eat the crab, but after she got the hang of using the scissors, she couldn't stop... haha
There were oysters too, but Mummy's not a fan....
I had the seafood as well and proclaimed them to be yummy!
Also, Daddy gave me his roast beef, roast lamb, etc and Mummy also gave me her bbq prawns....

Actually, Mummy didn't really eat much of the hot dishes, she just tried some for taste.... as she's already full with the cold appetizer.... hahaha...

To be frank, the hot dishes here are nothing to shout about.... The food to go for are the cold seafood and roast and bbq stuff......

For fruits, we had papaya & honey dew..... For desserts, chocolate fondue, cakes, and of course ice cream!
After eating the chocolate fondue........ ;p

We always came out of this buffet full & satisfied! Recommended if you are a fan of seafood & roast & bbq......
This is much more worth it than the buffet at triple three....
Dinner on a Sat night cost $55++ at Cafe Brio compared to Lunch on a Sat at $78++ for triple three...
Child price only for 5-12 yrs old, which means child below 5 eats for free! For triple three, we were charged $9.99 toddler price as Mummy requested for high chair for me.... Otherwise, it will be the full child price of $28++...

Working off some energy before going home.....

Buffet at triple three

Sat, 28 Aug 10

We had lunch buffet at triple three at Mandarin Orchard today, as there's a 1 for 1 promotion for DBS cardmembers till 31 Aug 10.....

Daddy & Mummy had not been there since Mandarin Orchard is renovated...... so they decided to go and try it.....

The buffet is now Japanese inspired, so there are quite alot of Japanese dishes compared to other international buffet.... There's sashimi, sushi, miso soup, soba noodles, teppanyaki and tempura ebi & vegetables......
Other than that, there's a roast section which serves wagyu beef......... there's also roast duck, roast chicken and dim sum........ fried chicken, potato wedges, sausages, scallop tarts...... some other hot dishes include sambal prawn, black pepper crab, fried hokkien mee, vegetable curry etc......

The desserts are nothing to shout about....... Mummy missed the ones they serve last time.... especially the tiramisu.....
For fruits, I'm lucky there's my dragonfruit......... haahaa...
In fact, there's only dragonfruit & watermelon left when Mummy went to get fruit...... not sure what else they have initially....

And not to forget the ice cream to round up our lunch!
I had 2 scoops...... yum yum.....

Conclusion: If not for the 1 for 1 promotion, this buffet is probably not worth your bucks.... unless you wolf down tons of the wagyu beef?? hahaha..... Mummy's also disappointed there's no crayfish/slipper lobster......

Before going off........ a snapshot for memories.... cos most probably we won't be back unless there's promotion again... haha...

We chanced into the Baby Milo and Hello Kitty characters outside the Bathing Ape boutique but I was not interested to take photos with them.... so Mummy asked Daddy to take the escalator with all the colourful characters on it instead.....

Thur, 11 Feb 10

We are going to KL for Chinese New Year this year. :)
Ah Gong, Ah Po, Ah Pak, here I come!

I will be taking the coach for the first time there, as we flew there previously....
Well, I was well behaved throughout the trip of 5 hours, though I kept asking now and then:"Mummy, reach already?" hahaha...

On the Aeroline coach enjoying my swiss roll....

My new train from Ah Gong & Ah Po... :)
Thank you!!

I saw this beautiful display in a pharmacy and wanted to take photo....

We had buffet dinner at Hilton Petaling Jaya to celebrate Ah Po's birthday.... Dinner's on Daddy... hehe..
