Kuching Trip Day 5: Chilling out

In the process of waking up..........



We had our breakfast in the hotel every morning as our package included breakfast.......


All ready to eat......... Can you spot Daddy at the buffet spread?

Kuching Trip Day 4: My Gingerbread Man

Sat, 18 Dec 10 night

After our dinner, we went to walk around the nearby shopping centres again.....
Another car ride....haha... (oh, I always sit in it without moving.......in fact, I don't want it to move... help save $ for my parents... heh)


We didn't realise it was raining until we wanted to head back to our hotel.......
We also saw a Christmas procession where there was a band, and some floats...... those people were bravely walking in the rain......
As we were standing near the road, Santa Claus walked by and gave me some sweets..... :)

Back in the hotel.........


Daddy bought me the gingerbread man which I have been eyeing since the first day we arrived....
It costs RM10.10 after service charge and govt tax (8.80++)
Mummy finds it quite ridiculous that service charge is included?!
It's in the same image as the one I took picture with.... (remember??)


I can't wait to eat it!! yum yum..

Kuching Trip Day 4: Rainbow :)

Sat, 18 Dec 10 evening

Mummy caught sight of the rainbow when she looked out the window to check out the weather.......... how lucky!

We actually saw it getting longer (the arch) and finally faded away..........
You gotta scrutinize the photos to see the rainbow as it's quite faint......




PS: We also saw fireworks tonight as well as on Wed night when we first arrived........ :p
All heard by Mummy and she drew the curtains to see fireworks exploding in the night sky.... sorry, no photos taken as we were too busy watching....

Kuching Trip Day 4: Kuching Waterfront

After the movie, we went to walk along the Kuching Waterfront.........

Kuching Trip Day 4: Tron Legacy

We went to watch Tron Legacy today........
It only costs RM25 for all of us (RM9 for adult, RM7 for child)

I enjoyed The Chronicles of Narnia more...... haha... guess this show is too complicated for me....

Kuching Trip Day 3: Sarawak Cultural Village - Ethnic Houses

After the cultural show, we proceeded to start our journey of visiting the 7 ethnic houses........

Male & Female totem (haha, Mummy anyhow named them....)


Beautiful scenery


First stop: Rumah Bidayuh (Bidayuh Longhouse)
Going up the bamboo bridge of the Bidayuh........and conquered it! :)




Second stop: Rumah Iban (Iban Longhouse)



Third stop: Rumah Penan (Penan Hut)



Beautiful red dragonfly spotted by Daddy! Mummy quickly snapped a picture of it...


Fourth stop: Rumah Orang-Ulu (New Orang Ulu Longhouse)



We spotted some wild monkeys behind the house!


Fifth stop: Rumah Melanau (Melanau Tall House)



Sixth stop: Rumah Melayu (Malay Town House)



Seventh stop: Rumah Cina (Chinese Farm House)



I'm getting to be quite the expert at climbing this type of stairs.... ;p
