Daddy bought a kite for me yesterday........
After a heavy downpour in the afternoon, the skies cleared in time in the evening for me to go fly kite......yeah!

This morning after breakfast, we went to the Pets Corner to have a look.......
I got to feed rabbits and guinea pigs....

The rabbits ate carrots and vegetable stalks....

The guinea pig only ate vegetables...

Look! These two rabbits came out of the cage to look for food themselves!

We arrived in KL this afternoon......
Ah Po cooked a sumptuous feast for us...... This is our early reunion dinner, since we will be going to Port Dickson tomorrow for a 4D3N stay......

All of us gathered at Gong Gong & Po Po's house to have our annual Chinese New Year steamboat dinner........ This year, we have little Eva to join us :)

First time using my trunki! I love to drag it......

A sumptuous spread with abalone, pacific clams, prawns, cuttlefish, fish slices, quail eggs, pork, and lots of vegetables!
Po Po also prepared the fried sliced pork (I love this dish!) and fried chilli mee hoon..... This year, we have 2 pots of soup..... One is the usual, and the other is tom yam soup done by Daddy....

Golden Dragon at Suntec

We went for Auntie Zhenzhen's baby boy, Haniel's full month celebration this afternoon.......
Congratulations, Auntie Zhenzhen and Uncle Guoju :)
He has the same birthday as Mummy and me!! So coincidental right?
We can celebrate our birthdays together this year...hahaha...

After that, we went to Suntec for some shopping at Carrefour......

Spotted this Golden Dragon.......
Many people were taking pictures of it, so Mummy was wondering if the other side was not decorated and decided to have a look...... It was exactly the same! Hence we took pictures at this side instead.... no need to squeeze with other people...haha..

My Po Po's name will appear every Chinese New Year....... cos is the Chinese character for "Spring"..

Chinatown CNY Celebrations 2012 Official Light-Up and Opening Ceremony

Today, Gong Gong, Po Po, Mummy and I went to Chinatown.......cos Po Po said wanted to go and take pictures of the big dragon (She saw on tv)........She thought the opening ceremony was already over last weekend.... My blur Po Po... Guess what??
The official light-up and opening ceremony was actually today!! So we (by a stroke of luck) managed to revel in the festivities and watched great performances, not to forget my favourite lion dance and dragon dance and of course fireworks! :)

It was a long long wait though as we were there around 5pm and the actual performance only started at 7pm......However, starting from 6pm, some of the performers were rehearsing their moves so we were kept entertained......hehe...

Patience is a virtue......

Wow, this must be the longest dragon I ever see!

1st round of firecrackers and fireworks.........

We didn't think the super long dragon could go up the stage but it did!

The 2nd and final round of firecrackers & fireworks.....

After the fireworks, all these coloured paper shreds were released into the air......... Everyone tried to catch for good luck.......

Gong Gong, Po Po and I each managed to catch one gold paper..... One gold paper dropped onto the happy meal cardboard Po Po was holding in her hand...
My Mummy managed to catch two, one gold and one red!! Good Job Mummy :)

It was almost 9pm by this time.......and we went home after this......We were all so tired.....
Gong Gong, Po Po and Mummy stood for 4 hours straight.... I am the lucky one, I got to sit down on the kerb and also carried by Gong Gong some of the time to watch the performances.. ;p

Mummy didn't even know such thing exists till she read about it in a magazine.... haha
We received this from Auntie Zhenzhen (Mummy's friend) when we met up with her and her hubby on 10 Dec 11.... However, Mummy didn't open it till Christmas Day...

This calendar is supposed to count down the days to Christmas starting from 1 Dec.... haha

So now, Mummy will ask me to choose the number I want and then open up to find the goodies inside!! Yummy chocolates! I like! Thank you, Auntie Zhenzhen, for the wonderful gift! :)

Langkawi Trip Day 4 - Underwater World Langkawi

After the feeding rabbits session, we went to Underwater World......

We had our lunch at one of the coffee shops across the street before getting into the Underwater World.....
We were just in time to catch the Fur Seals presentation at 2.30pm, African Penguins feeding at 2.45pm, Rockhopper Penguins feeding at 3.00pm, Feeding at the Tunnel Tank at 3.30pm and Otters presentation at 3.45pm.....

For the African Penguins, the person actually threw fish into the water and we can see the penguins chasing after them......

Langkawi Trip Day 4 - Feeding the Rabbits

Mummy and I walked along the peninsular as far as we dared......... It was as if we were walking in the middle of the ocean! Mummy was afraid to venture too far out since the tide was coming in......

This is the shuttle to bring us to our chalet......... It also brings us to the Oriental Village for free as our resort is very near to the village....:)

As the resort is nestled in natural surroundings, we can see monkeys roaming around at times....
Hence, we must keep our windows and balcony door closed and locked at all times.... else the monkeys might come in to find food......

We went to Oriental Village today to check out the cable car....... The queue was horrendous! Waiting time was estimated to be at least 2 hours! So we decided to give it a miss and signed up for the Langkawi Duck Tours instead....

While waiting for our turn at 2pm, we walked around Oriental Village....

Hi-5 Superstars for Super-sized Fun

We quickly went to Millenia Walk for the Hi-5 show next........
The queue was already quite long when we reached at around 2.45pm.... Luckily, we were still among the first 60 to get a photo pass...... :)
I was carried by Tim during my photo shoot.... The picture was abit small as it was not taken by Mummy.... The camera was handed over to the staff there.......They also have their own photographers to take your photo and you can buy it for $25!! So expensive......obviously we didn't buy....

I enjoyed myself during the show, dancing and singing with Hi-5!

We went down to Takashimaya Square at around 3pm and saw that there was already a queue for the show.......so we joined in.....

Gong Gong and Po Po brought me home today as my Ah Gong and Ah Po will be arriving from KL later in the afternoon.....

Our Christmas Tree is bursting with presents now!! Mummy has wrapped up all the presents for our friends and relatives during my absence this whole week.......
Wow.....so many more presents under the tree! haha :)

After watching Happy Feet 2, we went to the event square at Downtown East to wait for the musical show "Elves & The Shoemaker"....

As Po Po will be going for her doctor's appointment, Mummy came over to accompany me for today....
She brought me to Downtown East to watch Happy Feet 2....
I enjoyed it alot! :) Thank you Mummy!

It's the year end school holidays!! I will be going to stay over with Gong Gong & Po Po for one week! Yippee!!

We decided to pay Jiu Jiu a visit and see my little cousin, Eva.....
After dinner, we went to take a walk at the waterway..... Since it was already dark, we just took a short stroll....We will be back another day to explore the whole area....

After my school today, Mummy brought me to Bugis to meet Daddy for lunch..... After that, we were supposed to go ICA to collect my passport at 3pm....

While walking to meet Daddy for lunch, we saw this Santa Claus statue at The Bencoolen...

After lunch, we walked around Bugis Junction for awhile as it was still early.....
Mummy bought some cute stuff for herself (a phone cover, phone pouch & coin pouch) and an angry birds cardholder for me...
I also enjoyed myself at the amusement centre, but without spending a single cent... haha :p

Daddy took half day off in the afternoon today to attend the Teacher-Parents meeting at 3.30pm, right after my class....

Mrs Chua broached about the same issue about my confidence to speak up when talking one to one with her.... With my friends, I was chattering non-stop and very loudly.... Perhaps I'm wary of authority?

Since last weekend, I had been asking Daddy & Mummy to put up the Christmas Tree....
Today, my wish is finally granted! :)

So excited and eager to help out.......
This year, I can help Daddy to hold the lights and go round & round the tree with him.... Mummy's so happy that she can pass on this task to me...haha..

Barbeque!

Daddy had booked a barbeque pit for today at Labrador Nature Reserve after our little trip there the other time....
Alas, it started raining heavily at around 1pm.... We thought we were going to miss out on our barbeque.... Luckily, the sky started to clear at around 6pm and we decided to give it a go!

It was already dark when we arrived there but we were prepared...... torch lights & candles.... :)

Getting ready..... The fire was started in a flash! (the secret lies in the charcoal used)
Po Po even brought along the disposable table cloth to lay on the table and bench.... cool!

Today, Mummy brought me to Nex for my playdate with Jolie... yeah!

We had dinner at The Ship.....

Both Mummy and Auntie Yueli ordered the grilled sea bass set....
The cream of chicken and sweet corn soup was so so only... We had definitely tasted better soup!
The sea bass was a bit overdone, so it was dry and hard.... I told Mummy the fish is not nice... but I liked the 2 little fried chicken pieces that came with it and ate almost all....
The dessert was a really tiny piece of chocolate cake..... so pathetic! haha..

At least the company was great!!

Today, we went to Fort Canning Park....
Mummy's intending to go all the different parks in the near future too.... hehe...

Ok, let's plan our route... We started at the Hill Street entrance and decided to take the short route to Dhoby Ghaut side.... Perhaps we will try the long route next time...

I went for the bouncing castle fun play ($5) and then got an Angry Bird balloon ($5).... That's it, we spent our $10 booklet of coupons.... haha...

Today's our school's 90th Graduation Ceremony cum Anniversary Celebration.....
There will be a carnival after the concert.....Yeah!

This year, we joined with K1B for a Malay cultural performance.....

We arrived punctually at about 8am....
